Michael Moore: I have been affiliated with Boise Love INC since 2010, beginning as a volunteer and managing special projects. As I learned the full mission and scope of Boise Love INC, I felt led to become more involved and joined the Board of Directors in 2013, and became a class instructor and budget counselor in 2018. Planning to serve on the board for only a few years, I did not feel that God was done with me in this servants role and became Chairman of the Board in 2021. I have gained much love and respect for the organization over the years, learning much from the pastors, staff, volunteers and clients. It is a servants position that has been very rewarding. I am happily retired which gives my wife and I a lot of time visiting and spoiling our grandchildren. Early spring through late fall my wife and I like to spend much of our time exploring the beautiful country that God created through our time glamping throughout the western states. Looking forward to many more rewarding years serving God through Boise Love INC.

Janice Leighton: I am married with three grown children and six grandchildren. I have experience as a warehouse volunteer, on the benevolence team of a partner church and attend The Summit Church. I look forward to continue watching the board grow in members and effectiveness.

Dawn Winter: I earned my CPA title and worked as an internal auditor of a large Title Co. until I realized my true calling was as a stay-at-home mother, homeschooling mom to 2 boys, and help-mate to my husband and his painting business. I was raised in the Church, but it wasn’t until freshman year of college that I got to know God and His Son as my Savior and Lord. It has been a lifetime journey of learning my place in His World. My passion is helping others learn personal stewardship and this led me to Abundant Living where I have served as coach and teacher since 2013. It is a true blessing to witness the transformation process of those who complete the program.  Now that our children are adults I enjoy spending time with my husband camping, cycling, and hiking.

Vic Clapp: I grew up in California. After high school graduation  I served in the Navy in the Mekong Delta in Viet Nam. After this I earned my AA Degree at Long Beach City College and transferred to Boise State University to earn degrees in Psychology and Sociology. I got a job with these degrees at the Idaho State School and Hospital working with the developmentally disabled ( ie. supervising, developing, and running programs with data collection to help them grow); where I met my wife, Janie, while we worked as therapists. We both transferred to the community to promote normalization of the clients we cared for while we supervised  homes for them. I became a Christian in 1978, married Janie in 1985, and baptized both Janie and her son Ben (who I later adopted) in 1987 , (as well as baptizing and marrying numerous others). We bought a few properties and used them as rentals while we then ran a Christian cleaning business for 9 years. After selling this business, and the rentals, I worked as a Corrections Officer at the maximum security prison, taught Bible studies to the incarcerated, and worked for juvenile corrections; then retired to do more of the Lord’s work.  I have been a Deacon for the Boise Church of Christ (where Janie and I were married and baptized) for about 25 years, during which I worked with the Elders to begin Love INC of Boise in 2008. I currently serve on the board of Love INC Boise, and help others as a volunteer budget counselor for our Love INC Abundant Living program. I also am a Chaplain for the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Chapter 13.

Ken Dunham: I have over 30 years global cybersecurity innovation, transformation, and leadership experience, specializing in counter-intelligence and reconnaissance. I have the honor of serving the USAF, as a civilian, creating training programs for pilots and navigators of U2, A10 Warthog, and MQ-1 Predator (Reaper Attack Drone). Growing up, I had great parents and family but without faith. A few years after marriage my wife and I began attending church leading to salvation for us both. I found Christ and was baptized at the age of 30.  Quickly, I grew in the Lord and his commitments leading to focusing my career on one job, working from home since the turn of the century, to be available as a Father, helping homeschool and raise my four children. I served as a lay pastor for a church for several years before life changes led me down a different direction. Now single, nearly empty nested and active in serving others at my local church, Love Inc Boise, and the Lifeline Pregnancy Center. I have a big heart for children and those in need seeking the help and comfort of the Lord. I joined the Love Inc Boise board in 2021. In my spare time I enjoy all things outdoors, composing piano and guitar music, and entertaining others with a home cooked meal, fire, and time of connecting.
